ULTIMATE STYLE GODDESS, OLIVIA CULPO !

Olivia Culpo has an enviable style, she is never anything less than perfect. She wears classic timeless pieces mixing them with the latest trends. While talking to In Style she said ''I like to have fun with current trends, but I also like to stick to staple elements that will never go out of style'' She went on to say ''I like a classic and simple look with a touch of glam'' If you are looking for a complete style makeover or just some inspiration I recommend to follow Olivia on instagram or search her on pinterest for some ideas on her amazing style. Olivia wears high street brands as well as designer, she is a regular shopper in Zara and H&M, Zara has really great pieces if you are shopping with a lower budget but want pieces that are really structured and look expensive. Olivia says that if you are going to splurge on an expensive item it should be a bag. The right expensive bag is going to last you many many years and it will elevate any outfit to look more expensive. Stick to a classic style bag like the Gucci marmont or a classic Louis Vuitton as they will never go out of style.

A basic camel over coat is a staple you should have in your wardrobe, Here she pairs it with a basic white tee, jeans, a classic bag and some trainers. You could elevate this look with a air of knee high or ankle boots or even some heels depending on the occasion.

Olivia sticks to a muted colour palette, Blacks, Whites, Camels, Greys. I think that is essential to make your outfit look more expensive. It is ok to play with some colour Olivia often throws some red into her outfits but it is very important to buy muted colours so its easier to mix and match all of the items in your wardrobe. You dont want to have a wardrobe filled with lots of colour but nothing to match each other.

A statement coat is a great piece to invest in like the leopard one above. Leopard print is a classic patten that has been in style for years and im sure will be for many more years to come. A grey over coat is also an excellent staple to invest in. It will always be in style and you can take it out every autumn and winter or all year round depending on the weather where you live.

Another tip would be to coordinate your outfits well. Like we see above if you add a tan belt into an outfit match your shoes to the belt or maybe your bag to tie your whole outfit together.

Black is always classic even when its dressed down casual with some trainers.

Blouses are your best friend. They are classic piece that will never go out of style. At the same time they can be sexy without showing skin (a lace blouse perhaps). the look good for work and a night out. Over all a very versatile piece and should add a few to your wardrobe.

The logo tee is a great style piece. Now for most of us D&G probably isn't in our budget unfortunately. But the high street has excellent quality logo tees. Try Topshop and Zara. For an online store I recommend Nasty Gal. They have an endless choice of logo tees and always have amazing discounts, most days they do 30-50% off (a shopaholics paradise). Some killer jeans are also a must have. For the high street Topshop is on top of my list for skinny jeans id go for the style Jamie. They are stretchy and comfortable while giving you a great shape its a win win. For jeans more like the style Olivia is wearing the mom jeans are a great option. If you are willing to spend a little more maybe opt for the Levi 501's.

Now you cant be a fashionista without a white shirt.

Invest in some oversized shades to make your outfit look classic and expensive.

As a woman I love lying in bed flicking through Youtube looking for fashion and beauty inspiration. Its like my new alternative to TV shows and movies. I have always been a fan of Instagram for fashion and beauty tips you can find everything from street style to glam makeup looks. Only recently I became aware of vloggers and discovered that some of my favourite blogs I follow on instagram also have there own Youtube channel and I am hooked. Heres some of my all time fav vloggers:

1. Sophie Milner Fashion Slave

The main reason I love Sophie is I feel I have a very similar style. Everything she puts up in her haul videos are all very wearable and affordable pieces from highstreet brands like topshop. 2. Josie Ldn Fashion Mumblr

I could never ever be as polished as Josie. She has a signature style and the girl sticks to it. She always buys her clothing in the same neutral colour  pallet making all of her clothing items wearable together im sure she is never stuck for an outfit or left with a blouse that has nothing to match. I personally wish I was more like her. I am a peacock when it comes to fashion I am trying to reign in it. I am guilty of being drawn to the brightest item in the store then growing to hate it after I worn it a couple of times. If you want tips on how to shop and look expensive follow Josie you wont be dissapointed. She has great travel diary videos her recent one in the Maldives is a dream.

5. Chloe Morello

The second Chloe on the list, maybe the name comes with talent? From all the way down under this aussie beauty is my favourite MUA. She recreates looks from the likes of Kylie Jenner and Candice Swanepool. Shes really honest when shes reviewing products so you can trust her opinion. She created her own amazing eyeshadow pallet with Ciate its on top of the very long list of things I want. Why does makeup have to be so damn expensive? and if you squint just enough you can almost mistake her for Blair Waldorf. xoxo Gossip Girl
